I gave the third tree a major update to get it ready for moulding. It just didn’t have the energetic thrust I wanted. Makeover time.
Cutting up the tree trunks for easier moulding instead of having to make more complex moulds. Easy enough to rebuild in the porcelain when the time comes.
The ‘bear’ I referred to in an earlier post will be peering out from behind this week’s tree.
Added a few more slip casting moulds to the pile.
The main part of the trunk of this tree and the other two tree models will be moulded next. It’s Spring and the branches are stirring. The wax is softening. No time to waste getting the trees moulded.
