For all kinds of reasons, I made the decision to start putting away the moulds. I want to get reacquainted with the wheel.
The wheel and I are like two old friends who have fallen out of touch. It’s going to take a while to get to know one another again but when we do the experience will be rewarding. Looking to get together again by New Year’s.
Much to do to make that happen. Current activities include purging and organizing in the basement to make storage spaces, moving moulds into the those storage spaces, slip casting more open forms to fill an order, glazing some of the remaining bisque as well as cleaning and organizing the studio.
The modules are now a made-to-order item. I need a studio that’s free and clear to work on other projects by year’s end.
