This figure of a romantic couple in Greek costume was probably made by the Popov factory in Russia. There is no factory mark.
There are similar figures in a couple book sources as well as two examples sold by major auction houses that can be found online. This one is like them in form and finish only smaller. It is not unusual to find the same figures made in different scales. The other examples were of two larger sizes.
There are some hand written numbers incised in the paste underneath. Open bottom. Press moulded.
