There are lots of images in my files of getting the action figure prepped for mould making that you are not going to see. That is because I had the good fortune to have a guest who was willing to take pictures while I made the mould for the action figure body. These images together with others I took through to the end tell how the wax dummies are made.

I am a little torn about how to proceed now that this first step has been reached. Part of me wants to just get the rest of the action figures prepped and moulded while everything is still where I need it. The most time efficient approach. The alternative is to start playing with poses and put off the other characters for now. That would be more fun but less time efficient. Could go either way in the next week.

The figure you see taken through the moulding process is the first of the five characters I will be making. His animal fursona is bear. I considered having my characters from a world where DNA alteration was possible but decided in favour of having obviously human characters dressed in fur costumes. I want to retain as much humanity as possible under that fur.

I am putting comments with the some of the images to to give a better understanding of what I am doing.
